Why These Oils?

  • Bergamot is one of the most valued oils for emotional support and anxiety relief. Its uplifting, gently citrusy aroma helps reduce anxiety, depression, and tension, and supports emotional balance. Research and clinical experience show that bergamot can lower cortisol and blood pressure, soften emotional heaviness, and restore a sense of calm.

  • Lime offers a bright, fresh note that is emotionally uplifting and helps clear mental fatigue or heaviness. It’s often used in blends to create a cheerful, balanced feeling and works beautifully with bergamot to lift the spirits and ease anxiety.

  • Frankincense is grounding and deeply calming. Its resinous aroma is known to slow and deepen the breath, quiet the mind, and help restore peace. Frankincense is often used for emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and for supporting a sense of inner stability.

Why This Drop Ratio?

  • Bergamot and lime provide a bright, uplifting citrus opening, while frankincense balances with its grounding, meditative note. The 4:3:3 ratio keeps the blend fresh and light (not too heavy on the resin), while still ensuring the calming properties of frankincense shine through.

  • You can adjust the ratio slightly based on your aroma preference—if you want a brighter blend, increase lime to 4 drops and reduce frankincense to 2.

Safety Note: This blend is for diffuser use only. If you ever adapt it for topical application, and if you can choose distilled lime (not cold pressed) and keep bergamot very low due to phototoxicity concerns. For diffusion, there are no phototoxic risks.
